Have you ever thought of doing some community work?.
It could be really interesting, interacting with the people with the old folks esp. My most memorable visit was to Ju Eng Home with my sec sch classmates. It was considered part of our CIP hours that we had to clock.
My first impression of that place was..Wow..it doesnt looked like a home to me. More like a chalet...probably because the place was quite new?..dunno. We helped to clean the floors of the rooms, toilets and windows etc. The people were extremely nice there, i remembered the guys actually challenged chess with this man. He is really pro in chess..those that challenged with him, ended up losing. Then it came to lunch time, where we helped to give out the food to the folks, helping them out with their meals.
You really can see the difference between the active ones and the non-active ones who will just sit quietly, not joining in the fun. Overall, i had a great time there...oh..how i wish i could visit some homes again.
