We ought to thank our parents for bringing us up. They work so hard for us, just to provide us with sufficient meals, clothes, a home to live in and not forgetting a long time investment in our education. Well, we should be considered as "xin fu" compared to the children in poorer countries.
My mum will always be my role model...
When I was primary and sec school, she used to get up very early at 4 30am just to sweep, mop, boil water and make our breakfast ready. Then when everyone leaves for work and sch, she will go to the wet market, then come back to continue with the housework again. She doesnt sleep very early..around 11pm. Imagine that few hours of sleep each day and energy used in doing the daily housework...thats what I admire about her.
Then again, its all in the family line i guess, because my grandmother used to be like this too..waking up early and doing all the housework.
Now with a dog, she sweeps and mops the floor more than 3 times a day..lol. Though now, she wakes up 1 hr later than usual. It is a daily routine that we cant stop her from doing, if not she feels uncomfortable. Haha.
So will I be able to follow my mum's footsteps??Kekeke...i would like too.
So guys must be really appreciative of their wifes if they are housewifes as doing housework is aint an easy task! Hmm...it would be better if guys could help out too..haha.
Hey..my ideal typical housewife daily routine..(follows my mum).
Getting up in the morning boil water, sweep n mop the floor, prepare breakfast for the family, goes to the market, wash clothes, ironing, continue doing housework(if there is), noon nappy, cooks dinner for the family, sweep and mop the floor again. After dinner, wash up the dishes...then you can finally spend ur time with ur family. =) Ideal isnt it!
Occasionally, you have to go out to pay bills and drop by to get some stuff from the supermarket. Oh well, maybe u would haf to pick up ur child from sch too..when they are still young.
I told myself I must get a higher pay job next time, to bring up my parents when they are old. Its all about taking turns...and now its soon to be our turn to let them retire and enjoy as much as they can. Travelling is highly recommended!!!! *BEAMS*
