University life will not be complete without a cca or some say staying in hall.
CCA especially is good for your records in your Resume in the future.
I joined alot of cca during matric day...haha, slowly eliminating some. Its fun to get to know alot of people outside faculty. Another way to get to know outside faculty is thru breath modules which is compulsory.
In engine, you get to realise they are like soooooo many girls. You must either join engine camp which i missed or Orientation week. Get to know you seniors and people from various courses. Btw, my OG ratio of girls to boys is 1:1. Lol. I know one of the group short of guys somemore, more girls than boys. Its totally different in poly.
Most girls go the Chem- I heard min grade to enter for Alevel students is AAB, Civil or Bio engine. My og grp has 4 RJ students, 2 Hwa Chong....lol so scary la...smart ones.
Its all about thinking and understanding in nus. No more spoonfeeding and slacking like in poly also can get A. Lol. I heard from my seniors that ntu is easier to fail than nus, not sure about it...if its true then lucky. Its different in poly, the prof dun recycle past yr questions, every year they like to set questions outside wad they teach you and its different every year.
Cant wait to start school. Hehe stress up myself again. I already have my exam timetable, its in the last wk of nov-first week of dec. Aiming for 2nd class upper honours. We got direct honours unlike other faculties.
Profs are all friendly people. So dun worry, but i heard there is a rule in nus that you cant ask and delay the profs time after lecture. Any questions, book an appt with the profs one to one. Lectures go in a super fast speed.
I love the Munchie Monkey Cafe. Got live band performance and you can have your meals there. So far i only tried this cafe and the canteen both at yusoff isak house and our engine canteen. Food is definately cheaper than FC4.
